Fertility acupuncture and herbal medicine.

"There is an entire world of natural therapies, many of them thousands of years old, that are waiting for you to discover them.

The remedies of your grandmother's grandmother - flower petals, a leaf, a seed... are alive in nature as they have always been."

My Story

I am a third-generation practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine, following a tradition started over 70 years ago by my grandmother.  Like my grandmother, Dr. Bing Yin Lee, I specialize in women's health, particularly in the treatment of chronic menstrual problems and infertility.

My Training
My introduction to Chinese medicine began at my grandmother's clinic, and in my uncle's herb shop in Oakland's Chinatown. After graduating from U.C.L.A., I received formal training in Chinese medicine during a four-year graduate program at the Academy of Chinese Culture & Health Sciences. During this program, I completed over 3,000 classroom hours, and 2 years in a busy community clinic.

After receiving my California acupuncture license, I continued my training at Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hangzhou, China.  At Zhejiang and its affiliated hospitals, I undertook post-graduate clinical studies, focusing on the treatment of pain and women's health problems with Chinese medicine.

Integrative Medicine
I am a strong believer in integrative medicine, meaning the combination of a variety of therapies, including modern and ancient techniques. I encourage my patients to pursue different healing techniques, and I work closely with medical doctors and other health professionals to manage my patients' care.

In my clinic, I work together with a staff of natural medicine professionals, including massage therapists, yoga instructors, chiropractors and herbalists.  We often work as a team to create integrated treatment plans for our patients.

In most cases, there is no conflict between natural treatments and modern drug therapy - you do not need to stop your current treatment before trying acupuncture or herbal medicine. I will work with you and your doctor to design a safe, effective treatment plan for you.
